The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is a tiny chip and are a few nicks to the mouth rim.
- There is an approx. 11 cm. long firing crack to the base (visible both inside and on the exterior) and some short glaze lines, particularly to the interior below the mouth, which are original to manufacture.
- A few minute areas of wear to the glaze.
- Some kiln grit adhesions to the foot rim.
