The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted in tone. Artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips and paper residue is to the upper edge, likely in keeping with the artist's working method. Minor wear, tiny nicks and creases are occasional to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A fine linear abrasion is to the lower right corner. Staining is along the left edge, possibly due to previous exposure to moisture. A linear crease is to the left center edge and extends to the center of the sheet. A few tiny scuffs are to center in a red painted passage and a few more are to the lower register of the sheet. Visible under ultraviolet light, tiny spots of possible foxing are to the lower right corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
