The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A very small area of skillful cosmetic retouching to a historic loss in the white engobe towards one of the four corners, visible only under very close inspection under ultra-violet light. A few soft, unobtrusive surface scuffs and light handling marks in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
