The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Some light surface dirt in places, most notably in the deeper crevices. Two or three minute losses to the tips of the raised texture of the dark brown glaze. The reverse with five footmarks, two with small associated losses, consistent with the artist's firing process. The reverse with two small associated losses to the glaze. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
