The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In very good overall condition; a few minor intrinsic flaws, in the making, including minor kiln spots and tiny divots (mainly at the interior, two at the exterior painted over with a bird and an insect); some light scratches and wear throughout, consistent with age and handling, most prominently to the gilt band at the top; the silver with minor scratches, a tiny ding at its top, about opposite the thumbpiece.
