The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A fine network of crazing to the glazed areas. Two very small areas of scuffs to the black engobe, one towards the upper centre rim and one towards the lower centre rim. Some light surface dirt and dust, primarily in the deeper crevices. The underneath with one or two tiny nicks at the rim. The footrim with some wax residue. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work is in generally very good condition.
