The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the colours very slightly attenuated.
- an irregular horizontal crease (75 mm.) at the upper right sheet edge and another minor crease near the blindstamp at lower left, mainly visible in a raking light.
- some rubbing in places at the extreme sheet edges and corners, with minor associated ink loss.
- some minor areas of unobtrusive rubbing in places, predominantly in the purple
- hinged with tape at places along the upper sheet edge verso, and some further tape remains.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
