The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with wide margins, the sheet possibly reduced (Kaplan & Baum do not record sheet dimensions but other examples measure approximately 378 x 276mm.).
- pale time-staining darkening at the edges.
- a crease at the upper right corner, visible in raking light.
