The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on wove paper. Hinged to the upper corners on the reverse to the mount backing with archival tape.
Upper left and lower edges lightly deckled. Faintly light-stained. Some minor undulation along the lower edge. Small area of skinning to the lower right corner and in the figure's leg at lower centre. A few pale small dots of foxing in places. Small circular stains to the lower right corner and upper centre left edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the artwork is in overall very good condition.
