The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition. The lacquered wood with scattered surface scratches including more prominent ones on the top (largest approximately 21⁄4 in. long) and minor nicks concentrated along the edges of the legs, commensurate with age and gentle use. With the occasional small lacquer touch-up to some extreme edges. A later applied gilding has been professionally removed, revealing the original vegetal lacquer underneath. The piece presents well, ready for display and use.
