The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All collage elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There is minor rubbing in places to the edges and hairline abrasions to the lower vertical edge. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, possibly studio related. When examined under ultraviolet light, the surface fluoresces unevenly but not in a manner consistent with inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
