The sheet is hinged along the left, upper and right edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. A minor tear, with associated paper loss, is visible to the upper left corner. Artist's pinholes and wear are visible to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
