The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition. As stated in the cataloguing, the candlestick bases and scrolling candle-arms are possibly associated, as the pattern of the drip-pans of the candlesticks are partially covered by the candelabra arms. The ormolu appears to retain its original mercury gilding. With some minor surface scratches, casting flaws, verdigris and rubbing, as to be expected. Overall with some wax residue, consistent with age and use, which has colored green in scattered areas. Ready to place.
