A 1978 single-vintage Palo Cortado sherry. One of only 778 bottles ever produced, this bottle remained in the González Byass Historical Archives to be specially released for the Christie's auction. 22% ABV.
Tasting note: “Medium amber colour. Very intense high toned nose, with caramel and hints of cinnamon spice and star anise. Mouthwatering acidity. On the palate flavours of hazelnuts and dried apricots with an exceptionally long refreshing saline finish. An exceptional sherry ideal for sipping in moments of quiet contemplation!” 18 November 2025. Tim Triptree MW.
