The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. Please note, the cork ball moves between the metal rods. General wear, including faint scuffs, fine surface scratches, accretions, a few fine hairline cracks to the edges of the box and spots of discoloration, are occasional. A tiny loss is to the upper right corner-tip and the edges of the box are slightly cracked. Drying cracks and artist's pinholes are to the interior of the box. A sealed repair using a thin paper is slightly visible to the upper edge of the reverse of the box construction. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
