The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Tape is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Light soiling is visible near the right edge. Wear and rubbing is to the corner-tips and extreme edges and hairline tension cracking is to the turning edges. Vertical and upper horizontal stretcher bar impressions are visible with associated hairline cracks. Fine hairline cracks are scattered throughout and radial cracking is near the lower center edge in a gray painted passage. A faint protrusion is right of center in a white painted passage. A few abrasions are scattered to the extreme edges. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are scattered, most notably to the edges and corners.
