The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition. Age appropriate soiling and light wear to the lacquer at places. Scattered scratches, small stains, marks and minor nicks. Some chips at some places to the lacquer (one area more visible to the proper left edge of the proper right panel) and small losses to the gilding. Some touched ups at places. The metal elements with age appropriate oxidation traces. One hinge would benefited to be restored. Some screws replaced at a certain stage. The screen was probably wall mounted at a certain stage with traces of this set up visible to the lower backside of the panels. All consistent with age and use and not distracting to the general appearance.
