Finely painted to both sides with an elaborate scene of figures on a terrace, all within grisaille and blue enameled scroll surrounds, the sides with birds flying and perched among flowers, all on a gilt scrollwork ground punctuated by four further sepia landscape cartouches, the interior with a spray of peony, a spearhead band at the rim
