The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is a fine layer of surface dust. There are a few accretions in places, most notably to the lower right quadrant. There are two pinpoint losses to the impasto peaks to the right corners. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
