拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

Pencil on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged along the edges with Japan paper to a sheet support that has been cut to shape to allow both sides of the drawing to be fully visible. The upper edge serrated corresponding to the sheet being previously removed from the artist's sketchbook. Some minor light-staining with two or three unobtrusive pale stains in the lower part of the sheet that do not affect the composition. The medium is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.

Graphite sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des fausse marges. Le bord supérieur perforé dû au fait que la feuille provienne d’un carnet à dessin de l’artiste. Légère insolation de la feuille avec deux ou trois discrètes et légères taches sur la partie inférieur de la feuille, n’affectant pas la composition. Le médium est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre semble être en bon état général.
