The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachment are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the strecther. All elements appear to be present and adhere well to the underlying support. There are several minor defects in places, coherent with the artist's working method. There are some losses in places along the turnover edges. There are a few holes to the canvas, coherent with the artist's intention. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is out opinion that the work is in good condition.
