The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is tape along the turnover edges that is lifting slightly. There is rubbing to the extreme corners and the turnover edges, with several small impact marks to the left extreme turnover edge. There is a hairline linear abrasion to the centre of the composition and a small area of bleeding of the paint to in the lower right quadrant near to the vertical edge. There appear to be scattered spots of white retouching, only visible in raking light and not visible under ultraviolet light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
