The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Faint discoloration is intermittent. Visible upon close inspection, mild lifting is to the thread elements. Visible under ultraviolet light, signs of restoration are to the edges of the work, as the newer thread fluoresces. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
