The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The linen is mounted on panel and in good condition. The paint layer is stable. Very fine drying cracks to the white impasto in the upper left quadrant. Minor wearing to the upper left corner tip. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent inpainting can be seen. It is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
