The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The paper is stretched onto a frame and in good condition except for the deliberate punctures. Upon close inspection, minute cracks around the punctures with associated pinpoint losses; spots of negligible losses occasionally to the turning edges and bulging areas. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no apparent inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
