The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The camel:
Some breaks and restorations, including to the legs, neck, base plaque.
The tail has been chipped off.
Wear to the polychromy.
Both ears are missing.
Some cracks.
Some small chips and nicks.
The figure:
Some areas of restoration, including legs, arm, neck.
Some cracks.
Traces of soil.
Wear to the polychromy.
General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
