The work is structurally sound and a faint layer of surface dust is scattered. Faint discoloration and fading is visible to the painted cloth strips. Visible under close inspection, small losses and cracks are scattered to the underlying papier-mâché. Pinpoint brown accretions are scattered throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
