The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and undulates. The edges are slighly deckled. Minor wear and spots of stray media are occasionally to the margins. A few pinpoint accretions are occasional to the lower edge of the margin. Slight rubbing is infrequent to the black painted passages and a few abrasions are occasional to the grey painted passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
