The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both sheets are hinged at the upper edges to the backing board. The margins are slightly discolored as a result of the mat. On the sheet with the American map, there is a handling mark near the lower left corner in the margin and a very slight crease in the lower right corner in the margin. At the upper right margin on the reverse, there is an area of discoloration. On the sheet with the figures, there is a handling indent in the lower left corner of the margin. These condition issues are not visible when the sheets are framed with their current mats.
