The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board. A fine layer of surface dust is visible to the passages of heavier applications of paint. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and edges, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent and a few pinpoint losses ae occasional, most notably to some of the impasto peaks. A few slight tears to the paper collage elements are infrequent, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
