The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A light layer of surface dust is present. Surface variation, including losses, scuffs, fine surface scratches, drip accretions, fibruous accretions and areas of oxidation, is intermittent, presumably part of the artist's working method. Areas of lifting with associated cracking to the paint are scattered, most notably to the figure's proper left shoulder, likely in keeping with the found nature of the medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
