The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- a fine, curved printing irregularity (approx. 70 mm.) below the knee of the right figure, with some associated minor ink loss to the upper layers and two minor areas of lifting to the ink. A few other smaller irregularities in places in the background, with some minor associated ink loss.
- a soft handling indentation near the upper sheet edge, at centre, with two others at the left and right sheet edges (mainly visible in a raking light).
- the tip of the lower right corner with a minor diagonal crease and a short vertical crease (15 mm.) at the lower left corner.
- some polishing marks in places and occasional, very minor areas of ink loss at the extreme upper sheet edge.
- hinged with Japan hinges in places at the sheet edges verso, the reverse of the sheet only partially examined.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
