The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits marks, stains, significant crack on the right top front side and lid, there are some losses to the canvas, white marks to the front side, wear to the corners, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges. Canvas exhibits wrinkling likely due to humidity. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, cracks and dents. The leather to the handles exhibits creasing and dryness. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits dents and scratches.

Interior is incomplete, it exhibits stains and marks.
