The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discoloration. Faint creases are visible along the edges and at the four corners. A fold mark is apparent across the figure's left leg. A few scattered paint drops are present to the right of the sheet. Pinpoint foxing and minor handling marks present occasionally across the surface. A water stain is visible at the lower left corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front and a slight seal impression is visible. Cappellin's seal and reference number 362. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
