The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work is sold framed.
Brush and India ink and wax crayon on rice paper. Support is stable. The reverse of the sheet is hinged along the edges to a support. Some minor rubbing to the metallic pigments at the extreme edges. Faintly light stained with a few pale small dots and pinpoints of foxing. Some minor surface dirt. On the reverse: scattered pinpoints of foxing and some studio stains. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Encre de Chine et crayon gras sur papier de riz. Le support est stable. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières le long des bords sur un carton de montage. Usure mineure des pigments métalliques à l'extrémité des bords. Légère insolation associée à de rares minuscules et autres petites piqûres. Salissure de surface mineure. Au revers: de minuscules piqûres éparses et des taches datant de l'atelier. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en bonne condition générale.
