The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Mounted along the edges on the reverse to a window-sheet with thin strips of Japan paper; window sheet is itself hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat-backing with Japan paper. Light-stained and mat-stained. A few pinpoints and points of foxing in places. A 1-inch vertical tear off the center left edge. A small tear and puncture off the center right edge. A 1-inch expertly repaired tear to the upper left corner. A few additional nicks and small repairs at the edges in places. A flattened diagonal crease to the lower right corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
