Hold me tight

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile est très légèrement détendue. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Présence de traces de frottement, pour certaines accompagnées de petits manques de matière, par endroits, notamment le long du bord gauche dans la partie haute, et le long du bord inférieur. Présences de craquelures horizontales, accompagnées de légers soulèvements par endroits, notamment dans la périphérie de l'œuvre et dans le quart supérieur gauche. Présence de trous de punaise, très probablement de l'artiste ou d'un ancien montage, sur les tranches.

The work is not lined and the canvas is very slightly loose. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. There is some minor rubbing, some accompanied with small paint losses in places especially to the left edge on the upper part and along the lower edge. There are a few horizontal cracks, some slightly lifted, especially to the margins and upper left quadrant. Pin holes by the artist or from an older mount, are on the overlap.
