The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with margins, the lower left deckle edge fractionally trimmed.
- the sheet with uneven light- and mount staining.
- handling creases in the sheet, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a flattened horizontal crease (30 mm.) at the lower left sheet edge.
- two tiny areas of light scuffing in the lower image beneath the woman's left foot and in the man's upper right back.
- remains of brown tape along the sheet edges verso.
