The work is structurally sound. There is a fine layer of superficial dust. There are few superficial abrasions in places. There a few superficial abrasion and minute accretions in places. There is a minor paint loss to the upper edge of the globe. There is minute craquelure to the indented passages to the globe. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
