This work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners and undulates slightly. The upper edge of the sheet is irregularly cut. The vertical edges of the sheet are deckled and discolored. Artist pinholes are to the corners and edges of the sheet with some associated losses to the left edge. Wear, small tears, soft creases and handling marks are to the extreme edges of the sheet, possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
