The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. All elements are present and adhere well to their underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly and there are a few soft creases to the vertical edges. There are a few spots of minute lifting to the two lower and left dolphin elements. The sheet has discoloured slightly. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
