An area of paint loss is to the upper center in the black passage, and cracking with associated minute paint loss are to the thicker black passages. Minor wear and spots of discoloration are to the edges. A tide line is visible to the lower edge and to the reverse of the work. Under ultraviolet light, evidence of consolidation is visible occasionally to the cracks in the thickly painted passages.
