Heavy Weaponry

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the canvas generally in very good condition
- some tiny pinpoint brown dots near the lower edge at right (these are also visible in the image from the Bonham's sale in 2007, and may have occured during the production)
- there is a very minor vertical indentation along the left edge from the stretcher, and a curved indentation at upper right (both only visible in a raking light)
- there are indentations (from staples?) at the edges of the overlap, one on the upper edge and one on the right edge
- some tiny pale brown pinpoint dots on the upper overlap (only visible on very close inspection)
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in very good condition.

This lot is offered framed. Framed in a black wooden frame. Framed without glass.
