Patek Philippe revealed the revolutionary Calatrava reference 6000 in 2008. Stepping away from traditionally styled timepieces from the historic manufacturer, the brand created a sports-casual timepiece within the Calatrava family.

The timepiece has an unusual, yet intriguing dial which features an array of chapter rings to distinguish the minutes, hours, seconds, and date. The date complication has a distinct presence by surrounding the edges of dial and using a red pointer hand for indication.
