The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work was inspected within the frame. The sides thus could not be checked. The canvas is taut and the paint layer is stable. Hairline cracks towards the lower left corner and both upper corners, appear stable. Minor paint loss the upper left turning edge. Negligible abrasion and tension cracks to the extreme edges. When inspected under ultraviolet light, there is no apparent inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
