The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the pinks and the orange slightly attenuated, as is common with this print.
- some moisture-staining in places at the lower sheet edge recto and verso, predominantly at right and close to the numbering and signature, only visible in the unprinted areas recto.
- time-staining and pale scattered foxing in the unprinted areas at the sheet edges recto and verso.
- a tiny paper loss (3 mm.) at the upper sheet edge, at right.
- a tiny brown accretion at the right sheet edge, only visible upon very close inspection.
- time-staining across the sheet verso, with occasional small dark brown stains (not showing recto).
- remains of fabric hinges at places on two sheet edges verso, with some associated light skinning on the right sheet edge.
