The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slack to the stretcher. There are stretcher marks visible. There are handling marks and some signs of wear to the wooden frame. There are faint abrasions in places. There are some soft craquelures in places. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. There are some pinpoint spots of foxing visible, most notably on the reverse. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
