The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with deckle edges above and below.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- some small and unobtrusive handling creases in the margins (mainly visible in a raking light).
- a small area of surface dirt in the lower right corner.
- the lower sheet edge with very pale light-staining.
- a thin, diagonal pressure mark across the centre of the composition (only visible in a raking light).
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme upper and lower composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
