The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and lower left and right edges and undulates. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Areas of discoloration, likely from previous exposure to moisture and areas of foxing are to the sheet, most notably to the upper half and lower edge of the sheet. Minor wear and faint creasing is to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A tiny transfer mark is to the center left edge in a black painted passage and a faint abrasion is to the lower left quadrant in a black painted passage. Visible under raking light, faint surface scuffs are occasional to black painted passages, most notably to center. A few small spots of skinning are to the right of center on the sheet. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, pinpoint spots of foxing are scattered. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
