The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins and a deckle edge at right.
- pale time-staining visible at the sheet edges.
- very occasional and unobtrusive foxspots.
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
- a soft crease at the upper left corner, mainly visible in a raking light.
- a vertical and very pale brown time stain (circa 125 mm.) at the lower sheet edge, at right.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
